My name is Wyatt Denham, and I am a senior at Texas State University pursuing a BS in Digital Media Innovations (DMI). I am engaged to a loving partner of seven years, and I can often be found either in a coffee shop, or exploring trails and hiking with our one-year-old border collie mix, Clover.

I am a non-traditional student that started at Austin Community College in 2019 with a planned major in psychology before later switching majors, first to social work, and then to DMI during the Pandemic. Finding the DMI program at Texas State was a life changing moment for me, as it was exactly the degree plan I was looking for.

While in school I have been a manager at MOD Pizza for the past three years, and have worked in management for both retail and food service for upwards of seven years. I have experience with employee delegation, handling deposits, submitting orders, ensuring shifts run smoothly, and numerous other managerial duties. After graduation I hope to find a career in UX design and development.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, it is my job to ensure that communication flows effectively through all levels of the team; from General Manager to team members. I assist shift leads with shift deployment, handle and prepare deposits, handle team member testing and certifications, and submit inventory and truck orders. This position requres having excellect customer service, communication, and organization skills in order to ensure that internal operations are running smoothly.
